It wouldn't hurt to have/stack a month or two's supply of freeze dried 25 year shelf life Survival food tucked away somewhere as the economy resets/transitions into some semblance of order. Just add hot water and serve. I feel better protecting my family than scrum with an angry/hungry crowd at the near empty grocers trading my silver for leftover groceries.
