Hi @phoenixwren i know what you feel... I have a huge list of out-off-stock material waiting to buy to complete some of my projects. Some parts are really hard to find online, others are impossible to find everywhere. Most of the material i can get from a tiny eletronics store here in my town. I dont know if they deliver outside my country but i will try to find out...
