Oh cool, followed! I'd love to learn about more of this type of stuff. I once tried to build a cool little wifi antenna following a tutorial and I got everything done with the parts I had gotten for it and there was just one part I couldn't find locally, so I figured on the next paycheck, I'd go order that part online somewhere.
I don't remember what it was specifically but I could find only male when I needed female, or vice versa, to match up to the other part, and I was like ...how is this only one way like, everywhere?? And I gave up. 😅 I was checking Fry's, Microcenter, Amazon, ebay ...couldn't find it.
Lesson learned: don't buy anything until I'm sure I can find all the parts that match up from the start. xD
