After a long afternoon of rain, I headed out to photograph the sky. The weather had been with a light but constant drizzle that finally calmed down, leaving behind a scene with a very pleasant view. It is common in this region for the sky to clear up into a very orange sunset after a storm, and I wanted to document that image.
The sunset was very bright. The intense orange tone reflected off the damp surfaces of the city, creating a good environment for photography. The challenge in these situations is to balance the fading sunlight and the increasing darkness, since the camera's exposure makes it difficult to capture certain elements. Fortunately, the clouds always seem to absorb the light and enhance certain colors, spreading the light quite a bit across the sky, creating an aesthetic that does not exist in other climates.
The artificial lights from the street posts were already turned on quite early, providing a sharp contrast with the natural light. This interaction between the dying sunlight and the glow of the city lights adds an aesthetic touch.
Capturing these moments requires patience and taking several photographs, trying different exposure levels on the camera, since this only lasts a few minutes and time is pressing. It is always very relaxing to observe these sunsets at the end of a day full of responsibilities and hustle.

Después de una tarde larga de lluvia, salí a fotografiar el cielo. El clima se había mantenido con una llovizna ligera pero constante que finalmente se calmó, dejando después un escenario con una vista muy agradable. Es común en esta región que el cielo se despeje hacia un atardecer muy anaranjado después de una tormenta, y quería documentar esa imagen.
El atardecer estaba siendo muy brillante. El tono naranja intenso se reflejaba en las superficies húmedas de la ciudad, creando un buen entorno para la fotografía.
