Watching the sunset is one of my favorite moments of the day; whenever I have the chance to visit areas near the beach or spots where this beautiful natural phenomenon is visible, I make the most of it. I love the colors that wash over the sky as the sun dips below the horizon, giving way to the night. Although it might seem like a simple, everyday occurrence, every sunset reminds us that no matter how dark the night may be, a brilliant sun will always rise again, bringing a new day filled with fresh opportunities, experiences, and exciting adventures. On this occasion, accompanied by my son—with whom I frequently go out for walks and trips around different parts of the city—we headed to the "Monumento" area to run some errands. These took longer than expected, so we took the opportunity to snap some photos of the sunset. At first, the sky was painted in shades of blue and red; as the sun set, it took on a beautiful golden hue that I really loved, so I quickly took several photos. Afterward, we continued on toward the Hernán Marín Amphitheater to catch our ride home. This is my entry for the Qurator's Photo Quest | Sunsets.
Contemplar el atardecer, es uno de mis momentos favoritos en el día, siempre que tengo la oportunidad de visitar algunas zonas cercanas a la playa o lugares donde se pueda observar este hermoso fenómeno natural, lo aprovecho al máximo, me gustan los colores que cubren el cielo mientras el sol se va ocultando para dar paso a la noche, aunque parezca un evento sencillo y cotidiano que vemos a diario, cada atardecer nos recuerda que aunque muy oscura esté la noche, siempre saldrá un sol brillante y la llegada de un nuevo día con nuevas oportunidades, experiencia y emocionantes aventuras por vivir; en esta oportunidad de compañía de mi hijo con quién regularmente realizo salidas, caminatas y viajes por diferentes sectores de la ciudad, nos dirigimos hacia el sector el monumento para realizar algunas diligencias, las cuales nos tomaron más del tiempo esperado y aprovechamos para tomar alguna fotografías del atardecer, inicialmente el cielo se pintó en los colores azul y rojo, mientras el astro rey se iba ocultando, se vistió de un hermoso color dorado que me gustó mucho y sin perder tiempo tomé varias fotos, luego seguimos avanzando hacia el anfiteatro Hernán Marín, para dirigirnos a la parada y tomar el transporte de vuelta a casa, esta será mi entrada para el Qurator's Photo Quest | Sunsets.
As we made our way toward the amphitheater, other beautiful colors—such as light blue, bright yellow, and various shades of red—appeared in the sky, creating a stunning landscape; these colors shift through different hues until the sun finally sets and night falls.
Another view of the avenue reveals a beautiful blend of pink and blue, featuring the nearby hill—complete with the vegetation growing upon it—and the fading sunlight giving way to the moon. Next is a photo that particularly caught my eye due to the lovely pink hue painted across the sky, reminiscent of the cotton candy sold at playgrounds; when my sisters and I were little, we used to enjoy these tempting treats, which our parents would buy as a special reward whenever we visited amusement parks. Following that, there is a lovely view where a pink band combines with blue and light purple to create a beautiful scene; city lights are also visible, signaling the imminent arrival of night. The final photograph captures the early evening, so to speak, with white and gray clouds and a beautiful blue band in the center that contrasts with the other colors, all set against an incredible panoramic view of the mountain in the background, complete with trees and mist clinging to the mountainside. A sunset is truly a magnificent spectacle; the colors adorning the sky and the shapes formed by the clouds create a beautiful landscape. Just like every other visit we have made to this part of the city, watching the sunset—with its enchanting colors and the chance to enjoy this beautiful gift that the Creator and nature bestow upon us daily—was a wonderful experience.
Mientras avanzábamos hacia el anfiteatro, otros hermosos colores aparecieron en el cielo como azul claro, amarillo brillante y varios tonos de color rojo que creaban un hermoso paisaje, estos colores se ven muy bonitos y van adquiriendo diferentes tonalidades hasta que finalmente el sol se oculta y cae la noche.
En otra vista de la avenida, se aprecia un hermoso color rosado con azul y la presencia del cerro también algunas plantas que crecen encima de él y la poca incidencia de los rayos solares para dar paso a la luna, a continuación una de las fotos que más llamó mi atención por el hermoso color rosa pintado en el cielo, muy similar a los algodones de azúcar que suelen vender en los parques infantiles, con mis hermanas, cuando estábamos pequeñas, disfrutaba estas atractivas golosinas, que nuestros padres compraban y eran como una especie de premio o recompensa cada vez que visitábamos los parques mecánicos; seguidamente tenemos una vista muy bonita donde se combinan los colores rosado en una franja, luego azul y a continuación un morado claro, creando un hermoso paisaje, también se observan las luces de la ciudad indicando que la noche está por llegar, en la última fotografía se observa el inicio de la tarde por así decirlo, las nubes son de color blanco, gris y una hermosa franja azul en el centro que contrasta con estos colores, con una increíble panorámica de la montaña al fondo, varios árboles y la neblina que cubre una zona de la montaña, definitivamente atardecer es un hermoso espectáculo, los colores que visten el cielo y la forma que toman las nubes crean un hermoso paisaje, como cada visita que hemos realizado a este sector de la ciudad, fue una linda experiencia ver el atardecer, sus encantadores colores y disfrutar este hermoso regalo, que diariamente el Creador y la naturaleza nos regalan.
