Hello Hive Gamers! Today I bring you the 27th chapter of my hardcore Townsmen run. After the intense siege I described in the last post, I had to face the final wave of this massive bandit attack. To be honest, calling this a simple raid is an understatement; it was a total war. By this point, my guard units were stretched thinner than ever, and I could tell they were reaching their breaking point. I had so many wounded soldiers, and the constant fighting had completely drained my village’s economy.

The final wave hit with everything they had. They were clearly desperate to deal as much damage as possible, and they tried to torch half the buildings in the village simultaneously. It was a chaotic mess, and my guards were struggling just to hold them back. They barely managed to push out about half of the invaders, but the rest of the bandits were relentless. They managed to destroy two small houses and even set fire to a tailor's workshop. Seeing my production chain get hit like that was rough, but I finally managed to turn the tide.

After what felt like an eternity, I finally defeated them. The final bandit fell, and the red alert icons finally disappeared from the map. Getting out of this nightmare was a huge relief, but now the real work begins. I have to rebuild the village as fast as humanly possible so that the townnies don't start suffering from the lack of housing or clothing. I need to get things back to normal immediately because the village cannot afford any more downtime after such a long siege.

After that, I took a moment to analyze the state of the village and, honestly, despite all the chaos, things look good. Due to the recent demographic growth and all the new jobs I have created, I am sure that a bright, wealthy future awaits this village. I have plenty of people working, and the economy, though battered by the war, has the necessary foundation to recover quickly if I maintain order.

However, I will not make the mistake of letting my guard down. I realized that even though I won this battle, the bandits will always be out there lurking. That is why I will not neglect the development of the city guard for even a second. From now on, I will prioritize security to better handle any bandit issues in the future. I know what happens when you relax too much, and I have no intention of going through a nightmare like this ever again. We are ready to grow, but always with a sword in hand.

¡Hola Gamers de Hive! Hoy les traigo el capítulo 27 de mi partida hardcore de Townsmen. Después del intenso asedio que les conté en el post anterior, tuve que enfrentarme a la última oleada de este ataque masivo. Sinceramente, llamar a esto una incursión normal sería mentir; esto fue una guerra total. Llegado a este punto, la guardia ya no se daba abasto para contener a los atacantes, y se notaba el desgaste. Tenía muchísimos soldados heridos y la economía se vio seriamente afectada por el constante estado de alerta.

La última oleada atacó con todo lo que tenían. Estaban desesperados por hacer el mayor daño posible, y trataron de prenderle fuego a medio pueblo al mismo tiempo. Fue un caos total, y mis soldados apenas pudieron expulsar a la mitad de los invasores. Los otros bandidos lograron destruir dos casas pequeñas y le prendieron fuego a una sastrería. Ver cómo dañaban mis edificios fue un golpe duro, pero al final logré derrotarlos a todos.

Después de lo que pareció una eternidad, por fin terminé con ellos. Cuando cayó el último bandido y los íconos de alerta desaparecieron del mapa, sentí un alivio enorme. Salir de esta pesadilla es solo el primer paso; ahora tengo que reconstruir la aldea lo más rápido posible para que la vida de los townnies no se vea afectada. Necesito recuperar la normalidad de inmediato porque la aldea no puede aguantar más tiempo parada después de un asedio tan largo.

Luego de eso, me puse a analizar el estado de la aldea y, la verdad, es que a pesar de todo el caos, las cosas se ven bien. Debido al reciente crecimiento demográfico y a todos los nuevos puestos de trabajo que he creado, estoy seguro de que a esta aldea solo le espera un futuro brillante lleno de riquezas. Tengo gente de sobra trabajando y la economía, aunque golpeada por la guerra, tiene la base necesaria para recuperarse rápido si mantengo el orden.

Sin embargo, no voy a cometer el error de bajar la guardia. Me di cuenta de que, aunque gané esta batalla, los bandidos siempre van a estar ahí acechando. Por eso, no voy a descuidar el desarrollo de la guardia de la ciudad ni un segundo. A partir de ahora, voy a priorizar la seguridad para atender de mejor forma cualquier problema con los bandidos en el futuro. Ya sé lo que pasa cuando uno se relaja demasiado, y no pienso volver a pasar por una pesadilla como esta. Estamos listos para crecer, pero siempre con la espada en la mano.
