Hello friends, tough games night, unfortunately all my picks went bust last night.
The first game, Wizards vs Hornets was a blow out, riddled with ejections and drama. Charlotte shot very well from the field, around 50% I believe and most importantly did not commit many turnovers, unlike the Wizards. Dwight Howard is going through a good stretch. Last night he was +19, and had 15 rebounds!!! I repeat, 15 rebounds... The starting 5 for the Wizards had only 20... Anyways, a bad game and unfortunately a bad pick.
Second game saw the Warriors face off against the Bulls. The first half was balanced and the Warriors pulled away in the third. As Kerr put it, it was classic splash brothers game, Thomson scoring 38, Curry adding another 30. Unfortunately, Durant added only 19, which is why the Warriors did not cover here. He went 6/15 from the field, 0/5 from three point range, very atypical of him. Chicago starters were all negative in the +/- stat. It was really surprising this was not a rout.
