The picture is not my terrace ... 馃槬 It was taken from Canva's image database.
Hi, I probably haven't mentioned this before, but I'm a flower lover. My mother always had lots of pots with all sorts of plant colours, I'm not sure if it's because of her or my own nature but I've started wanting to have different plants - flowers in the house too.
Now it's a little bigger than the picture - this is what it looked like when I got it.
Don't think that by liking them I can keep them for long. My record was a couple of avocado plants that survived 4 years (they were 4, 3 and 2 years old) and actually in one week they all decided to not exist anymore.
I've also had success with several tangerines, all were grown from seed and in that one week they all just flew off, withered and refused to be affected by any rescue techniques.
I now have a Trillium in my home - the other tough plant alive for over 5 years at home and an Anthurium which was a gift from my better half.
Now hopeful I have planted a few mandarin seeds. And I hope to plant some more soon alongside the various planned cozies and lemons.
I can now boast of the first tree hopefully sprouting. I don't know how much is visible in the pictures, but it's there!
And 3 avocado nuts. I already have experience with them and hopefully this time I won't knock them out and they'll turn into an awesome green beauty.
I managed to at least figure out how to 100% sprout my avocado nut. I've tried many times with the sticks to do it and even 3 months of sprouting them didn't sprout - I only had one success there. And I've had over 5 avocado plants at one time. After getting mad at them after about 3 months for not sprouting I put them in soil and watched it be perpetually wet and in about 2 weeks it worked. So now I put them straight in the pots and water them almost every day making sure to keep the water level almost to the edge of the pot. The ones in the picture are 4 days old, hopefully in 2 weeks there will be sprouting in there.
I also have what I think is a defective one, but I decided to give it some strength and keep it in water for a week and then plant it. I had to peel it because the very skin of the kernel had separated from the kernel.
Wish me luck and stay tuned for more of my future little trees!
