I am on Whaleshares as my main focus in social media and crypto. I know it was not the best way to go about it but they are trying to do it without outside funding like ICOs and all that. The sad part is that the devs get paid in WLS which has little value now because they let everyone in at the start instead of building their product and then selling it. They thought that airdropping to the team to do all of this work would be the way to go but when you battle the whole way through a lot of people give up.

The problem I find is that the site was originally populated with people shitposting and crossposting from Steemit and every other site, only to dump whatever tokens they could get. When the content is the same as you can get on Steemit, why would people go to Whaleshares? They can see lots of shitposts here.

I wish they would have just started off with the tipping structure to start with and it would have been a much cleaner start. Anyhow, with that said, I love the innovations that now make it it's own site. Once it is made more non-crypto user-friendly I think it will find more and more people adopting it.
