I was wondering whether to get vaccinated or not, as I had heard of people who had not done well, because they had different reactions, so I decided to do my own research.
I went to the pharmacy to look for a medicine and I heard that the pharmacist was talking to her colleague about vaccines, so I took the opportunity to ask her about it, and she told me that she got it and felt bad although she was recovering, but her sister was serious and she also knew someone who had swollen the hand of the arm that was vaccinated, imagine how I left the pharmacy, I told my wife, however I continued researching and asking God to guide me in the decision if I get vaccinated or not.
I listened to a Colombian scientist in the USA from her instagram about vaccines, and that gave me more clarity on the matter. Then I asked my wife to help me research on the subject, and she told me that she trusted me, that if I decided to get vaccinated, then she would do it too, there I thought, now I have a greater responsibility in this decision.
I had heard several pastors who did not vaccinate because of apocalypse stuff and prophecies and such. However, I have also heard of several pastors who have passed away and I wondered internally, did they get vaccinated?
I was already clearer in leaning towards the vaccine, and I heard a pastor of a mega church in Colombia, whom I admire for his family life and his ministerial fruits, who said that he had already been vaccinated.
So I decided to take the vaccine for what it is, a scientific treatment to create antibodies that fight the covid virus, nothing more and nothing less. In the first dose I had no reactions, but some sleepiness, and in the second dose I was equally sleepy, but less sleepy and a little pain in the vaccinated arm. Of course, my confidence and security is not in the vaccine, but in the God who allowed me to be vaccinated, knowing that He takes care of me out of love.
This was my experience, everyone takes his own, happy day.
