I used to say always that Monday is boring but today I am not going to say that. It's obvious that after a great weekend, some of us feel annoyed about Monday. After all, Monday means the start of weekdays. When I was a student, I needed a lot of motivation for Monday because I didn't want to go to school or university. Even I tried to miss the classes saying I am sick, bla bla... But now life has changed and those days are now sweet memories.
Monday is an active day of the week and to make it sweet I wanted to grab some sweets for myself. So, I decided to go to the nearest superstore to buy cake/ dessert or whatever depends on my choice and availability.
First of all, I wanna say that I am not a sweet tooth but I like specific desserts I don't like too sweet food but I like cakes mostly. According to my taste, some Ukrainian sweets are too sweet for me but here people love sweets I guess. In Bangladesh, we don't have too much variation when it comes to cake or specific desserts. Either you have to pre-order them for custom made cake or else you have to choose among whatever is available. Even some icing is so bad that you don't wanna taste it twice.
But here not only you will get traditional flavored cakes, but also you will get a chance to explore uncommon flavored cakes. I mean a large variety of different flavored cakes are available here with different icing and cream. Even I have never seen such variety in life before, many of them I haven't tasted yet...
In these pictures, you will see a large variety of desserts and some of them are delicious too. I am a vanilla and chocolate lover but that doesn't mean I don't try new flavored desserts.
The display of desserts always attracts me and I become confused when it comes to choosing just one dessert...
It's not my birthday but I have chosen this cake to buy and enjoy. It's a red velvet cake with strawberry icing. I have tasted black forest cake before and I wanted a sliced piece of this red velvet cake but unfortunately, it was not available. So I had to buy an approx 1.5-pound sized cake.
I just wanted to make my Monday special that's it. The cake costs me 10$ which was cheap. Once upon a time, someone told me that if you are upset, grab some sweets, you will feel good...
