We was told to sow and reap
For your rebellion; sow in sorrow
Of course we sowed;
Indeed we did
Our seeds were sent to the deep
We thought today was the fall of tomorrow
But we go home with our empty barrows
Where are the promises we was told you keep?
We watered
Both with tears and sweats
We added the multipliers
Local and manufactured
Yet we leave with our eyes and hopes fading into the shade
Why did you suddenly fade?
Why did you dry away?
You used to multiply
But it seems you're divorced
Your roots have chosen another
Your fruits have gone to another
Our dying packs are fed with hunger
Where are the harvests you produced?
We left with hope for tomorrow
We still believed in you; we borrowed
Now we're here and you're all gone
Your children have been taken
And we're left to cry to our ever comforting friend; the hot sun
They have taken our sows
They have weakened our souls
We was to reap after the sorrows
But the jungle riders have reaped our sorrows
And they've left without seeds for tomorrow.
These are words of our sorrows
