For many years now Christianity has had various branches (different methods of serving God, different doctrines, etc) and has, in itself, brought up various arguments concerning which doctrine is right, better or accepted by God himself.
I'm not here to choose any doctrine above the rest neither am I here to judge any for being out of point; God will do the judgement (Matthew 7:1).
What I want to point out is the nonchalance of Christians towards "living right". We've gotten so deep into these "better doctrine" arguments that we do not think about the ten commandments.
For example, using the beliefs of the Jehovah's witnesses that there's no such thing as "heaven" but rather "New Jerusalem" and those that say there's "heaven, what are the criteria for making any of these places if they turn out to be real?
Many Christians go about swimming in fornication, lies, murders, backbiting, etc but wouldn't mind changing that flaw in their life but would be thinking of "heaven" or New Jerusalem".
I think it's high time we, Christians, stopped these arguments and live a "Christ-like" life which is why we're called "Christians"
Love your neighbours, both friends and foes alike, as you love yourself (Matthew 5:43-46)
Love the Lord your God (Matthew 22:37)
These are the two commandments that serves as a password to "heaven" or New Jerusalem" (Matthew 22:34-40). Upholding them would mean zero killings, adultery, stealing, coveting neighbours and their families and belongings, being without lies, no false witnesses, having no other God, worshiping no other god, take God's name in vain, keep the Sabbath day holy, and you'd honour your parents (Exodus 20:1-17).
