Hello guys good day to you all, it's yet another amazing contest and am so glad to be a participant. On today's post I will be talking about the reason why people are lonely but before I go any further I will like to throw more light on it by telling you what loneliness is before giving my reasons of why people are lonely.

What is loneliness?

Loneliness is the unpleasant emotional discomfort that arises when our social contact and relationship is not met. It's can also be described as the feeling you experience when rejected.

Reasons why people are lonely

There is so many reasons as to why person are lonely and it's becoming a thing as concern because the rate at which is growing in our community today is something else, so on this note I will throw some light on some of the reason why people are lonely.

1. physical isolation

Physical isolation is the process where an individual separate his or her self from other people. There some particular set of people that don't like involving there self with other people due to some reasons best known to them and in most cases it results to loneliness.

1. Change of environment

Change of environment has a great impact in the social life of an individual there by making it difficult to interact with people. There are some people that are not good in communicating with others to moving to a new environment will make it more difficult for such a person and it will lead to loneliness.

1. Low self esteem

Lack of self confidence contribute a lot in the cause of loneliness because person's with low self esteem find it difficult to interact with people because they don't want to be mocked or insulted either by the way they look or speak.

1. Breakups

To much of failed relationship's has caused a lot of people to be lonely because the thought of being hurt again scares them way from making any kind of bond with anyone just to avoid history from repeating itself.

1. Lack of trust

Trust is a very fundamental aspect of human life and when it's broken it's very difficult to build back and it has resulted to so many loneliness because people has lost trust in either loved ones or business partners

Why is it so hard for people to to make real connections when almost everyone wants to make real connections.

1. Lack of effort people put in relationships

The effort put into a relationship will determine the quality of that relationship, there are some people who don't contribute much is a relationship, it's always one sided. They don't always care how you feel they are only concern about how they feel so in such cases it always difficult for them to interact with people.

1. Financial status

There are some set of people that are over confidence about their financial positions they treat people who are not in their level as trash so they find it difficult to communicate with them most times and this has really made them to be lonely because not everyone will like to be around someone who see them as trash.

Conclusion

The issue of loneliness is a nationwide thing because it's in every society so I will really love it if the younger ones are educated on the awareness of it from our educational sectors so that they will know the affect of it because it has caused a lot of people to commit suicide. So I like the youngers ones to be educated on the side effects and the preventive measures.
