Hello guys, good day all.
From my little active time on Hives, I have seen about two or three people who stop being active, for some reasons best known to them. For some time now, I have been thinking, why do people exit hive, especially newbies. I mean it doesn't make sense, and why joining if they know they will exit it? All this questions kept boarding me.
i then find out there are some reasons newbie exit this space, and there was also a time when I was also in their shoes, but the difference was that I came back and this time I try to shape myself and enjoyed the space no matter what.
I have said it before, my coming to Hive was one of the best decisions I have ever made, because Hive really taught me alot and helped me to be able to associate with the public (which am still learning anyway).
Now, one of the major reasons I found out about newbies who are exiting Hive is their mindset before joining Hives
You know, we are all humans and we all in one way or the other have this thing we expect from a business, job or a person before deciding to take action.
Some of the newbies Saw hives as a place where they gain without putting much effort and it's never possible, even in our normal jobs, we have to put in our best.
So of them also involved the uses AI to write a posts and they attract down votes to themselves.
Another thing I found out is that they don't feel notice even if the obey the rules of a community, interact and create original posts, they just feel invisible.
Some don't get upvotes, no matter the quality of their post, no interaction even if they try to creat one.
This makes them feel like "no one knows me here, so why will I spend my time here" and that's true, because you can't give your time to someone or something that doesn't give good results.
Now, I just want to say something to the newbies or someone who has been facing something like this and want to give up on Hives. Firstly, I would like you guys to understand Hives, know how to get good results instead of quitting. It may look as though you're invisible to others now and maybe you get little rewards for a post you spend some quality time on, just don't stop.
Because one day, your hard work and your endurance will surely pay believe me. And one important thing again, do look at the rewards, because if you do, you will get distracted. Instead of looking at the rewards, try making outstanding blogs and enjoy the space, meet new friends and interact with them, just as you do on facebook. I'm also part you all, I'm also trying to grow, so, let's grow together. I hope a newbie find this post encouraging.
