I won a recharge card at the sister's hangout event.

I was slightly sick on Friday last week which made me stay away from Hive after I managed to submit a post on Saturday morning. I wanted to comment a little but my strength couldn't allow me.

I had to sleep the whole day. Though I prepared something to eat while I was checking the time to go for the sister's hangout in my church the same day in the evening.

I just couldn't miss that event because I would say it was the first hangout in my life that I would attend. I have always been invited but I ignored it, not knowing I have been missing a lot. I made up my mind not to miss this one especially when I started to get noticed in Church by my Pastor and his wife.

A friend and I both prepared and went for the program since it was all about sisters except for the instrumentalists who were males.

My friend already hinted me what the church looks like and how it is being decorated in preparation for the Christmas Carol coming up on the 18th of December ^{(so sad, I won't be around to attend as I would have travelled).} We got to church and I was wowed at how the church looked so beautiful and amazing. The decorators did a great job.

I was moved to take more pictures inside and outside.

As if that wasn't enough, I went outside to take more pictures and I found my pastor's wife new car she just bought some days ago. It was looking cute too.

While the program was going on, my pastor's wife signalled to me to go get some recharge cards. This was intended to make the event fun and lively. I got the cards and when it was turn to call the cards out. The fastest finger is the lucky person.

The person in charge of calling the card called out the numbers while everyone was set with their phones in their hands. We were all glued to our phones while the number was being called out. My friend was lucky as she loaded the first card. She was the first winner and everyone applauded her.

The service was ongoing while drinks and sweets were being served on the table. Each person picked a bottle of water and sweets and we listened to different talks about relationships and marriages. The guest speaker was amazing and we learnt things from her.

By the end of the program, the second card was being called. My friend already was evicted since she got the first one. I got the second one and loaded the card. I shouted and everyone applauded me too.

I never enjoyed the event as I did yesterday and I realized I have been missing out a lot and I need much exposure. It was at that point I made up my mind to always attend any event similar to this if someone invited me because I am willing to always learn. This was how I spent my last Saturday as it was fun and interesting knowing other people and gaining from people's perspectives.
