No doubt, Hive has proven to be a place to learn, relearn and unlearn. Hive is like a school where you meet different people from all four corners of the world, sharing their ideas, and learning more about them, their cultures, traditions, etc. Hive Blockchain is an awesome place where you feel so grateful for being here. I have been on this chain for more than 2 years now, and I can say that it has taught me a whole lot of things. Earlier today, I sat down and started thinking about the past and appreciating the great opportunity I never allowed to slip through my hands as I held it firmly when I did the last 2 years ago, and here with me, are what the blockchain has taught me.

Hive taught me the 3 C's of life — Communities, Communication and Connections.

Hive has several communities with different ideas. For each community, there is something that makes it stand out and that is where users get their niche to stand with. Hive taught me that for everyone to grow, we must be in a community with similar ideas, thoughts and beliefs. And with this comes unity and cooperation among each other. The communication comes from the posts and comments we get from others. The rapport it creates among us wants us to keep coming for more while sharing our ideas, and from there, a great connection has ensued. With different communities, comes deeper communication which provides a big outcome through connections. Through our connections, we learn more from each other.

Hive taught me persistence and consistency.

The truth is, I found it hard to build my account when I first joined Hive. This was one reason that made me step back at first when I was introduced to this chain. It was like I wouldn't be able to succeed here but I gave it a trial. I was here for the money at first, but along the way, my mindset changed and the journey has been sweet. You know how challenging and hard it is to compose 500+ words, publish it and see like $0.02 in the next seven days. That was a hell of a challenge to keep going but through a consistent and persistent way, I made it to this stage. Building a successful Hive account takes a whole lot of time. It requires hard work, perseverance and to be consistent. This is what I keep telling the new ones who are just coming and letting them know what they need to do; it may be hard but here I am, still breathing and building my account.

The blockchain taught me authenticity and originality.

It is a good thing to stay true to yourself; be real. One thing I have come to realize is that if you are not willing to share things with people, don't lie or fake it, share the ones you know you want people to know. I love being real and whatever I share with people, I want them to learn from it. There are users I respect here on this chain, they'd rather tell you the whole truth than cutting corners or giving it fake which to me isn't ideal enough. People want to know us, this is why we are here to learn from each other. It's okay not to reveal everything, but to be real accords one the worth to be valued and respected. Hive taught me to stay true to myself and in this way, I get rewarded.

Hive taught me creativity and growth.

I bless God for this opportunity because I am not where I was in the past and believing that I won't be where I am today in the nearest future. In most of my posts, I tend to be creative with them. I wasn't someone who loves designing images but today, I am glad to keep improving. That logo divider, I made it for myself yesterday on Canva and I felt so excited as if I did something big. I said to myself "Busayo, you are growing". The idea just came on to try something new and I did that little logo, and I smiled. I wouldn't have learnt or known about this if I wasn't on this platform. Designing my images is now something I enjoy doing every time and it makes it look incomplete if I don’t. If you are on Hive and not growing, then you just don't want to grow. Hive taught me to keep growing while learning from others and improving my writing skills which I am grateful for.

Hive taught me the value of building one's financial goal.

I had the mindset of growing and investing in myself through my Hive Power since I joined Hive. Looking at others and how far they have come inspired me to start my journey into financial life and create wealth for myself. I don't know what could have happened if I never met Hive. It is the reason I am working hard to build my account which in a way, means investing in my future. I keep focusing on those Hive engine tokens and accumulating as little as I can knowing that a little drop would yield big returns later in the future.

Lastly, Hive taught me gratitude.

You see, when you see others celebrating their wins and successes, you would also appreciate what you have while working towards celebrating a bigger win next. I have been more than grateful for an opportunity like this and all thanks to this amazing blockchain.

Thanks for your time on my blog.
