Passion is a feeling, an excitement people derive from doing some particular thing. It is a natural feeling humans developed for some things, we somehow get attached to that thing naturally and we find ourselves doing it over and over again.
I have been asked this question several times and for about a year now, my response has been the same. My passion has changed from one thing to another as I grow and I discovered that at every phase of life I find myself, there is one thing I am always passionate.
At one point, it was my education. Today, it is something else and it could be family tomorrow when I start having kids.
What else can I be so passionate about at this stage of my life if not my work?
My work is something that put food on my table, it helps me pay my bills and as well cater for my family. I am not the outing type of girl and my daily routine can tell how much I am passionate about my job.
My job didn't become my passion because I make money from doing it but because I enjoy doing that one thing from time to time.
I have done different jobs and never have I been passionate about any but making hair is something I enjoy doing.
My passion is my handwork because ever since I was a child, I have developed an interest in making hair for my siblings and peers in the neighborhood. It wasn't the best of hair then but I was eager to continue doing it because I enjoy doing it.
I never thought of making it my source of livelihood, I only did it back then for the love of it. I never thought of making money from it because I have bigger dreams than settling to make hair for people.
Ever since I came to live with my sister, I have been the one making her hair without learning from anywhere because I love making people beautiful. So when the company I was working with folded up, I couldn't think of anything than to perfect my handwork. I went to learn more so that I can be perfect for the work completely.

My work gives me joy because it is something that put a smile on people's faces. When a hairdresser makes her customer hair very nice and beautiful they will love it and it will put a smile on their face.
My passion for making hair keeps growing every day because the more I make hair the more my handwork looks perfect which means am getting more fond of my work.
