In life, making a decision is part of human growth as long as you are old enough to face the results of your decisions and, of course, the consequences at the end of it as well. And that is why some parents never let their guards down whenever it comes to their children making decisions for themselves.
Making a decision is not easy, especially when it has to do with growth in life, because once you make the wrong decision, it means you won’t get the good results you are expecting, but if you are lucky and make the right decision, then nothing is going to stop your growth in life.

As humans, we must be very careful when making decisions since they will have effects on our lives, so being careful while choosing one path is the only option because we can't do without decisions since they are part of human existence.
I saw a video of one man; he is around 50-55 years old, and he was interviewed by a guy, and the question he was asked was, “If he could change one of his past decisions, which one would he like to change?”
He replied with a bitter smile on his face and said, “I wouldn’t have taken the decision of chasing my wife away, and I would have married earlier so that all the mistakes I made in my marriage could still be amended, and I will still remain married to my beautiful wife.”
He continued, “I married at the age of 40 years, and I and my wife didn’t have a child, and instead of me seeking medical help, I threw my wife out. I thought she was the problem, but if I could turn back the hands of time, then I would gladly change that decision and then fix the problems.”
Before anyone takes decisions about their lives and their future, they should think twice and also have a backup plan as well because life will do its own along the line, and once you get it all wrong, it means you will start all over again. Meanwhile, there might not be enough time for you anymore.

How I made my decision is simple but complex because I always take my time to finalize my decisions so that I wouldn’t make mistakes or depart from my path, which I wanted to follow. And this is what I do.
After making a life-changing decision, I seek advice from people who are closer to me, like my husband, family, and, of course, my best friend, and sometimes I seek advice from people who are older, like my mother or mother-in-law, since they must have been through that phase of life before, and of course they know more than what I know. I guess it’s not a bad idea to seek advice based on your decision so that I wouldn’t fail and then go back to where I started.
And when I gathered all the information, I made sure to have a backup plan for my decision simply because it is not all decisions that will bring good results, and whenever my decisions don’t make a good change for me, I will go for the second option, which is my backup plan, and that has been my way of making sure I didn’t make a mistake while taking decisions that have to do with change in my life.
