This is a short update regarding Hive-Engine Snapshots and the corresponding proposal.
I upgraded the storage of my server, so there is enough space for the snapshots for a few more months.
Also I made several small adjustments to the snapshot script, which runs daily at 11pm. The script now checks if the mongodb dump was successfully finished, before providing it on the server. This prevents the provision of invalid or incomplete snapshot archives.
Additionally I fixed a small bug resulting from adding more storage to the server and added 4GB of swap (there somehow wasn't any configured by default), just in case the RAM is getting low.
Due to one of the bugs there is currently no snapshot available - the next one will be available in about 1 hour. If you need one right now, see the next section for some awesome news!
I have been discussing this with for a while now and he successfully deployed his snapshot script today. The script is taking snapshots daily at 11am UTC, so there will be a maximum of 12 hours between his and my snapshots. This will help for faster catching up after restoring from a snapshot and provide additional redundancy in case one of the two services is down.
You can access the snapshots either using the menu on the left side on https://primersion.com/he-witnesses:

My recent proposal for covering the costs of running the snapshot service was successfully funded as I already mentioned in my last post. As the proposal was meant purely for covering the costs of running the service with no profit in mind, I will be splitting the 10 BEE daily proposal reward (for 365 days) with as follows:
That's all for now - stay tuned for more cool things to come.
