Being an artist
we view the world a little differently than others. We dream, we create, and the world is our inspiration.

I’m not really sure how to explain just exactly how our minds work; its complicated but there is just something so freeing that exists within art. It’s the ability to create anything and use the world as your canvas, never really seeing anything how it really is. An artist can look at a building and see a million different possibilities of how to make art out of this one structure. In fact, whenever I even look at the sky, I think of the colors I would have to mix to get that shade of blue. Actually, it’s basically whenever I look at anything.

There’s just something about deciding if you want to mix ultramarine blue or cerulean blue with cadmium red to get that perfect shade of purple, or if you need to use your soft or medium charcoal to get the shading on your drawing right.
