Hello everyone @needleworkmonday community
It's been an amazing day,and am wishing everyone a beautiful new week.
I had a beautiful ankara fabric which i kept in my closet ,i uad loved the material and i really wanted to take my time in sewing it.
I really didn't want to make some hasty decisions about the style i needed to sew.
Because i really wanted it to come out nicely.
Finally,i had a little time on me to sew my fabric
So i took it to my store and i went through my gallery for a unique style
Surprisingly i came out with something unique and great.
I started early in cutting the fabric because i wanted to finish early, but unfortunately i still finish late
Though am glad i made it through.
I wanted the upper side to be a princess dart design
So after taking my measurements i cut out the fabric
I used hair stay for clorhes,i ironed it to the fabric and i also ironed the warden for the burst caging ,i paded it well and i sewed through.
Then i inserted my lining and sew it
Below is the out come of the steps above.
This was for the back side,i had sewed the lining to the fabric and i kept a space for the zip allowance i had created.
Next step was for the down part,i made gathers with the fabric using a needle and a thread.
And my down side was ready.
I wanted a hand for my dress,so i cut out the hand and i fixed it to the dress.
I made sure i joined all the parts together and i sewed it.
And am glad my dress was ready,it took me so much time and i couldn't get a brighter picture for it because it was dark.
So i had to take these pictures the next day.
I hope you all will like it.
