Hello friends of this awesome community, it's really a happy day for me today as i get to deliver a jumpsuit for a friend
Honestly sewing a jumpsuit was always difficult for me at first
I remember trying it out with my child's ankara fabric
I used their fabric to keep learning because i didn't want to mess up a customer's fabric.
For all the fabrics i used for tutorials,i really messed things up,but i kept trying.
Well lately,i made a short jumpsuit for my last daughter and it fitted perfectly well,we went for an evening service in a friend's church and when she saw my baby she was so impressed and she immediately ask me to make her own too.
Well i was abit uncertain about it,but she kept persuading me that i should do it for her.
Well at first i told her i wasn't so perfect with jumpsuit designs, but she kept believing in me .
And i decided to give it a try.
The following day she came to my place with her fabric,i took her measurements and i promised to finish up in the next two days.
Here are the materials i used
The first step was the down part,i was really careful when taking a flab measurements, thats the point i usually have issues but i gave in my best.
She insisted that she needed a pocket so i created it also.
After the cutting i was done with it and i decided to sew
The next was for the top,so i had already taken her measurements, shoulder, half length, burst and waist.
She didn't want the normal hand she said i should create a long rope for it.
Which i did.i had to spent four hours just to get this perfect but i am glad i did
Finally ,i was able to put all the pieces together and the jumpsuit was ready.
When she came and saw it she was filled with joy that i can't explain.
