Hello everyone in this amazing community, it's my pleasure to be here and to share some of my lovely moment and work with you.
Lately i have turned some simple fabric into something nice for myself and others
One thing i have learnt so far is that,no fabric can be wasted if used properly or when combined beautifully with other fabrics.
There's this left over fabric i had early this year, actually it was five yards of fabric but i had used some of it to sew a gown for myself and i was left with less than two yards of it.
I knew within me that someday i will end up using the remaining pieces though i didn't know exactly what to use it for.
I went through my stuff during the weekend and i saw a colourful fabric that would go so well with my left over fabric.
I quickly grabbed it and i imagined a suitable style for it.
While i was thinking of a style for myself, probably a two piece outfit,i remembered a good friend of mine who just graduated from high school,so i decided to gift her the outfit.
I quickly placed a call to her that i needed her measurements,she promised to stop by my shop in the evening which she did,i took her measurements and i promised her that I'll visit her soon with the outfits.
It was a simple style i choosed but i know her love for styles like this and i just wanted her to be happy.
I cut out the trouser both the front and the back.
she's a tall beautiful lady and i also cut out the top using her measurements.
For the neck i had used a round neck design for her,it was a free top and i didn't need a zip for it.
For the top,i also add some styles to the side of the top,i used elastic to create the style by the side
Since it was a big free top,the elastic by the sides added some beauty to it.
I was through with her outfit and it wasn't as stressful as i thought.
But the good part is that i was able to give out something new to a friend.
