JEHOVAH IS OUR REFUGE AND STRENGTH.
One promise you have to count on is the ever present help of God: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” Psalm 46:1. So much can be accomplished when help is guaranteed; so much strides can be taken when help is ascertained. When you have what you can fall back on: so much comes alive on the inside, to propel you to the point of gainful results in life. One thing to fall back on is the promise of God, never to leave you nor forsake you.
The Bible says in Psalms 103:14;
“He knoweth our frame; He remembereth that we are dust”.
His knowledge of us enhances His stickability to us. Even when you feel you know what to do and when you feel you can go alone; there is something about your frame which He knows so well and He never let you go alone. He hangs on with you and His Word is there to guarantee that you don’t lose your bearing.

When the wise men from the East saw the star of Jesus; they were so fascinated and they followed the leading of the star until they got to the country where Jesus was born. When they arrived, they felt they knew enough to do without the leading of the star. They must have thought within themselves; that, there is no better place for the child to be born, other than in the palace. They forsook the leading of the star and went to the king in the palace, requesting to see the child born, King of the Jews. When they found no trace of Him in the palace, they knew they had misfired.
As confused as they might have been, when they got out of the king’s palace, they looked up and saw the star waiting. God will never leave us nor forsake us. In the words of the song writer – “Back to His dear loving arms, do I flee; when I remember that Jesus loves me”. God doesn’t leave but if you insist and persist in a life of sinfulness, God takes His leave because His Spirit does not always strive with man. Holiness is God’s habitation; if you choose to stay holy, you will enjoy divine habitation and nothing of the devil shall survive in your life.
