Hi everyone,
Last time I posted a tie-dye design I did, so today I'll be posting another one .
This one I used a different method but same colors.
The method I used here is called spiral, I washed my fabric to remove the starch which would prevent the fabric from absorbing the chemicals and dye.
After washing I allowed it to dry then when I was ready to dye it, I rinsed the fabric but this time I didn't dry it I just squeezed the fabric to remove excess water.
It is said that when the fabric is wet it gives easy access for the chemicals to be absorbed, after this I mixed the chemicals in my dye-bath.
I folded my fabric into two and used a fork to spin it from the middle so I could get the spiral method then I used rubber band to hold it together.
Then I poured my different colors into a bottle and poured on the fabric after pouring I left it for oxidation to take place after some hours I rinsed off the fabric in plain water and put it out to dry .
