I don't follow the show (haven't have cable TV in years now). Years ago though I saw an amazing singer on Rockstar INXS who later went on to try out for the Voice. Couldn't believe she didn't win either. She has struggled to make it, although I think she did release 1 CD that she funded herself. Here is one of her better performances from the show.
