Justin Sun Now Taking Applications For Ass Kissing Curation Workers
I saw just a little bit ago that Steemitblog has a new post out (their day 3 of 100 days of Steem series). In one of those cant look away from the pending train wreck moments, I found myself clicking the post open for the lulz. I wasn't disappointed. Evidently, his highness Justin Sun is now going to allow 4 account hold the posting keys to 250k Steem each to curate on his behalf. Yes, you read that right. Not delegating the Steem, he will deign to allow 4 of the commoners to curate for him so he can earn rewards without having to lower himself to read and vote the riffraff himself.

I have always felt a distance from many others, as I couldn't understand the motivations many have for conforming as much as they do. Parroting the party line, acting on authorities behalf when it not only doesn't benefit themselves, but actually strengthens a bad tyrants position. The comment section of this post is simply cringe for the most part, as people are lining up to do his emperors bidding. The few people laughing at this in the comments as they reveal it is little more than servitude to Justin with a few crumbs for others are receiving the usual "why are you here, go to your precious Hive" comments.
Is Hive being dumped on purpose
In a post by one of my favorite authors here, he mentions that Hive is being dumped and recommended to sell ones Steem off for Bitcoin until the dump is done. I respect the advice for those who wish to make as many gains as quickly as possible. I think there is another way of looking at this though, and will explain why I will continue to trade staright into Hive as my stake powers down.
1- The quicker my stake grows, the quicker my small vote can help those I interact with as my community here grow. I was quickly dismayed on Steem how many didn't seem to understand that, even being counseled my first year there to stop renting delegation if I was going to "squander" it by not massively self voting. They never understood the idea of all ships rising together.
2- If there is indeed a dump on the way, it can be countered by there being a demand for it. I always thought it was shortsighted by those running Steem (Steemitinc) not to attack the premise by Dan that the foremost action for a chain should be creating a demand. Dan did his part by attacking much of the ease of use issues most chains have. If people flock to get the coin of a chain, there will be no dumping as it would get soaked up as quick as it was being dumped. Supply and demand.
3- While immediate returns are easily measured, long term gains not so much. This is what I mean.
I power up my Hive, and it immediately has a claim on the reward pool with no activity on my part to adjust for the vest inflation. This action compounds on itself.
My voting for others grows in reward both for the author and myself via curation rewards, which then grows my stake. Refer back to the stake growth through compounding reward claim to see how this multiplies on itself.
It just makes sense to me that regardless of the immediate rewards that may (or may not be) gained from holding off buying Hive, the longer term rewards far outweigh that approach.
I feel an excitement for Hive that had been sorely lacking my last year+ on Steem. There is much potential swirling around all of us here, and it is crucial that none of us sit on our laurels and squander this as happened on Steem.
Justin continues to display public actions that continue to help Hive thrive. One of the common complaints was Steemit inc never advertised. Justin is taking care of much of this for us with his lies and ludicrous actions. I for one can't wait to see what tomorrow brings from Justin for Steem day 4. This shit is like the 12 days of Christmas.
