Welcome bro, let me think about writing that article on what ails Africa. But what am sure of is that poor leadership and mismanagement of resources will keep Africa poor. Another example I forgot is the middle east, those countries like UAE, Qatar, Saudi, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain have become wealthy through proper management of their resources. I lived in UAE and Qatar and I can tell you there is nothing that the ordinary citizen lacks.
In Africa, it can get complicated but good leadership and proper management is all we need. Rwanda is at the moment getting everything right, just like Botswana you will hear about it in a few years. Kenya is trying but I feel like we still don't have the right leadership yet.
