Hello everyone 😻,
Happy Monday and a very warm welcome to my report. We are onto a new week, new month of June and the stepping continued unabated💯.
So I woke up to a beautiful sunny🌞 day and went on my first walk around the neighbourhood. I did about twenty minutes then was back indoors handling the usual tasks of the day.
Later I settled down into X and youtube and also followed up on the trending stories of the day.
My final walk saw me go for some errands around the city centre then a quick stop at the park before heading back home and calling it a day.
Let's now turn our attention to the trending stories.
In Gaza, the mass murder continued with 27 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes😿. Hamas fighters engaged in direct clashes with Israeli forces in Jabalia area.
Meanwhile the food scarcity still going on😿.
Across the border a missile attack by the Houthis was intercepted by Israel's defence system. Sirens rang out as the attack happened.
In the other war, Ukraine and Russian representatives met in Istanbul and have agreed on a number of issues. They announced a major prisoner exchange and return of over 6,000 bodies of dead soldiers.
In the UK, the PM announced major defence spending on nuclear submarines, new munitions among other upgrade strategies to keep UK ready incase of war.
The threat posed by Putin is real but the best part is no one lives forever, we might have a totally different world in a few years. Unless a new crazier Putin-like leader emerges😹.
Across the pond, the deranged suspect that attacked a pro-Israeli demo will be charged with a federal hate crime. Was trending, that Trump talked about it on his social media too. A crazy attack with flammable liquids🙀.
Further down, Mexico trending as it completed the judicial vote electing new supreme court judges and other judicial officers.
Mexico is the first country to choose all of its judges by popular vote🙀. Though the turnout was low at 13%, the president called the whole exercise a success.
Finally, in crazy weather, mount Etna erupted off the coast of Sicily sending tourists close by fleeing as hot ash and nasty gases emanated from beneath. Good news everyone is alright💯.
