Hello everyone 😻,
Happy Thursday 🎊 and a very warm welcome to my report. It's been another ordinary day stepping it out and it's now time to slow down and report on how my day went. Of course not forgetting the trending stories that caught my eye 👀.
So without much further ado let's get into that and more 💨.
So I began my day with a brisk walk around the neighborhood. Pretty sunny 🌞 and windy as I made my way around the park.
Later on after about 20 or so minutes, I was back indoors getting on with the usual house chores.
Next I looked at some of the trending stories and also watched a bit of you tube and Twitter.
In the evening it was still sunny as I left for my sunset 🌄 walk. I did a few rounds in the neighbourhood before heading back indoors
I made it back safe and sound and have been watching the news and just relaxing😹.
So let's proceed to look at some of the trending stories.
Starting off in Gaza, Israeli airstrikes targeting Hamas kept going resulting in 24 deaths across the strip😿. Experts are warning that Gaza is slowly headed into a famine, Israel has not let in any food, fuel or medicines for 60 days. Things are about to go south in a serious way🙀
The irony of it all, hundreds of trucks are nearby at Rafa crossing with the much needed food and supplies.
In the other war, Russian airstrikes have been raining down on Ukrainian cities. In Odesa 2 people reportedly killed in such airstrikes😿.
Meanwhile, Ukraine and the US have reached a landmark deal on Ukraine's rare minerals. Hopefully this will go a long way to reaching a lasting ceasefire💯.
In the UK, its seven days since Marks and Spencer were hit by cyber attack. They have lost millions in online sales over the seven days🙀. Today Harrods store were victims but said the hackers were unable to gain access into their systems.
Across the pond in the US, political shenanigans😹 as Trump replaced Mike Waltz with Marco Rubio as the new national security adviser. Waltz has been appointed US ambassador to the UN, still a plum job. Waltz came under scrutiny in March after reports he added a journalist to a signal chat on Yemen attacks.
Finally, today being international workers day, rallies and protests organized by trade unions have been held in many parts of the world.
