LHello everyone 😻,
Happy Monday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my report. We are onto a new week; getting into the new month of May on Thursday.
I began my day with the usual morning walk around the neighborhood. cloudy and sunny day as I made my way.
Next came the house chores and then later onto the trending stories from x and you tube.
The day later turned sunny and stayed that way even as I set out for the sunset 🌄 walk.
I walked around the neighbourhood and park before heading back home and calling it a day. Tonight is a bit cloudy but, hopefully tomorrow will be another sunny 🌞 day.
Lets now quickly look into some of the trending stories.
In Gaza the mass murder/genocide kept going with 9 Palestinians killed in Gaza city as an Israeli drone hit a busy street😿. A real horror show as bodies were strewn all over, blood everywhere and lots of injured people scrambling for safety🙀.
In the other war, Putin has announced a temporary ceasefire in Ukraine to mark the end of world war two. The ceasefire will be from May 8 to 10th. He will probably continue attacks until then🙀.
Back to the middle east, Yemen trending as US airstrikes targeting Houthis have killed 68 civilians😿. The airstrikes hit a detention facility holding African migrants.
In Europe, a major power outage has hit Spain, Portugal and parts of France. Total chaos as it paralyzed transport both metro, airports, traffic lights. The mobile telephones where also affected in some areas🙀. They say the cause was a rare atmospheric phenomenon. I don't know what that means but power will be slowly restored as the week goes by.
Across the pond, Canada trending as polls are open across the country where a snap election is being held to determine the next prime minister. Six weeks ago Mark carney was sworn in replacing his liberal party colleague Justin.
However, he is now going head to head with another candidate from the conservative party. Trump is still calling on Canada to become its 51st state. The next leader will really have to stand up to him and maintain Canada's sovereignty. Trump the bully😹.
