Hello everyone 😻,
Happy Monday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my report. We are onto a new week as we dig further into April.
I began my day with the usual morning walk around the neighborhood. A wonderful sunny 🌞 day as I made my way.
Next came the house chores and then later onto the trending stories from x and you tube.
The day continued being sunny and stayed that way even as I set out for the sunset 🌄 walk.
I walked around the neighbourhood and park before heading back home and calling it a day. Hopefully tomorrow will be another sunny day.
So now let's take a quick look at what has been happening around the world.
Starting off in Gaza, Israeli airstrikes kept going as they targeted Hamas positions. Deaths reported but I didn't get todays numbers😿.
Speaking of Israel, the PM, Netanyahu is in Washington meeting Trump to discuss a wide range of issues including Gaza, Iran, Syria and of course the ongoing tariff shenanigans😹.
Speaking of Tariffs, White house has reiterated that Trump is not considering pausing tariffs despite global turmoil🙀.
Speaking of turmoil, major markets around the world fell sharply on the news of tariffs. Huge drops, countries like Hong Kong last saw todays market drop back in 1997🙀. China, Japan and South Korea exchanges saw dust as they all fell sharply🙀.
In Europe, Eu trade ministers met in Luxembourg to try and come up with some type of retaliatory tariff on US, though they will be advocating for talks and negotiations instead of tariffs.
Many experts concluding that tariffs will be bad for both US and other countries. They are good for no one. Most agree that Trump trying to put America first could be causing lasting damage to the world economy that may fall into recession🙀.
Anyways, time will tell exactly how this boils down.
