Hello everyone 😻,
Happy Thursday 🎊 and a very warm welcome to my report. It's been another ordinary day stepping it out and it's now time to slow down and report on how my day went. Of course not forgetting the trending stories that caught my eye 👀.
So without much further ado let's get into that and more 💨.
So I began my day with a brisk walk around the neighborhood. Pretty cloudy and windy as I made my way around.
It was a little chilly compared to yesterday, but I had on warm clothes😹.
Later on after about 20 or so minutes, I was back indoors getting on with the usual house chores.
Next I looked at some of the trending stories and also watched a bit of you tube and Twitter.
In the evening it was still a little cloudy as I left for my sunset 🌄 walk. I did a few rounds in the neighbourhood before heading back indoors
I made it back safe and sound and have been watching the news and just relaxing😹.
So let's proceed to look at some of the trending stories.
Israeli forces are on a third day of a raid at Jenin refugee camp in the occupied west bank, The raid/ offensive has killed 12 Palestinians and injured dozens others😿. Hundreds of people have fled their homes, water and electricity disconnected in the region. Israeli bulldozers are digging up roads and other infrastructure, causing maximum destruction to punish residents😿.
Not far off, heavy gunfire in Burqin as Israeli forces clashed with Palestinian fighters🙀.
Meanwhile in Gaza, no deaths or airstrikes as aid trucks kept flowing into the region🎊.
Palestinians in Gaza are being overwhelmed by the amount of rubble around residential areas.
Work was underway to clear rubble and open up main roads.
In Europe, Switzerland trending as US president Donald Trump addressed the world economic forum in Davos via livestream. He took a combative approach to international diplomacy, as he once again threatened tariffs against foreign competitors — and even allies like the European Union (EU) and Canada🙀.
In the UK, a teen who killed three children and injured ten others has been sentenced to minimum 52 years in prison💯. The killings went on to spark further unrest and riots last year.
As US President Donald Trump launched a 100 day effort to end the war in Ukraine, Kyiv’s long-range weapons were devastating the heart of Russia’s war effort – its oil depots, weapons storages and factories🙀.
Russia will likely respond to the attacks.
Across the pond in the US, A federal court judge has temporarily blocked Trump's executive order on ending birthright citizenship😹. Saying it goes against the 14th amendment of US constitution.
Finally in crazy weather, new California fires have caused the evacuation of thousands of people from their homes😿. Dry bush and strong winds are making things worse for affected area.
President Trump will be visiting the California tomorrow, he has blamed authorities for being incompetent and lacking the know how to deal with the situation🙀.
Lets hope the wildfires can be brought under control ASAP.All's well that ends well 💯
