Happy Thursday 🎊 and a very warm welcome to my report. Thank u so much for taking the time to stop by. Its been a great day and as always am here to break it down including the trending stories that caught my eye 👀.
Lets get rolling 💨.
So I began my day with a quick twenty minutes walk around the neighborhood. It was quite cloudy ☁️ as I made my way.
Next I was back indoors handling the usual chores. Later on logging into the trending stories of the day.
In the afternoon, I stopped by the city center for a couple of errands. Still a cloudy ☁️ day😹.
I finished off with a short sunset 🌄 walk around the neighborhood this evening.
So now lets look at what has been trending around the world.
Israel has bombed residential buildings in the heart of Beirut killing 22 and injuring more than 100😿.
Their target was a senior Hezbollah official, Wafiq Safa, still not clear whether they killed him or not.
Still in Lebanon, more airstrikes in Bekaa valley have killed four people😿.
In Southern Lebanon, Israeli forces fired on UN peacekeepers wounding two. UN and several countries have condemned that attack.
In Gaza, another horrendous bloody day as 56 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes😿.
In the north in Jabalia, fierce gun battles as Israeli forces and Hamas fighters engaged each other🙀.
In the other war, Ukrainian president Zelensky, is in London on his trip across Europe seeking more support.
He held talks with, PM Keir Starmer at 10 Downing street.
Sweden trending, as a South Korean writer has won the Nobel prize for literature. Hang Kang, has also made history for being first woman from Asia to win🎊.
Definitely congratulations 🎉 to her. She won for her intense poetic prose. That prize comes with a cool $1.1 million, well done to her💯.
Spain trending as tennis 🎾 great Rafael Nadal announced his retirement. After an epic career where he won 22 grand slams including Wimbledon among other awards🎊.
A legend in a class of his own💯.
Finally, in crazy weather, Florida trending as rescuers waded through flood water and debris after Hurricane Milton thrashed Tampa Florida🙀. Deaths reported and over 3 million people have no electricity or water supply😿.
President Biden has promised help and support in every possible way for victims of the storm.
Everything will be okay, all's well that ends well 💯.
