Hello everyone 😻,
Happy Monday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my report. We are onto a new week and I have been feeling upbeat💯.
I began my day with the usual morning walk around the neighborhood. Some annoying drizzling cut short my morning walk and I had to go back indoors after 15 minutes😿.
Next came the house chores and then later onto the trending stories from x and you tube.
At midday, I stopped by the city centre for some errands then headed back home.
The day continued to be sunny and cloudy up until the evening when I set out for the sunset 🌄 walk.
I walked around the Westminster area before heading back home and calling it a day.
So now let's take a quick look at what has been happening around the world 🌍.
Lebanon still trending as Israel carried out more airstrikes in different areas. Beirut, Bekaa valley, Tyre and Marjayoun🙀.
Israeli military warned residents of Beirut to evacuate due to planned strikes on Hezbollah targets.
There are fears of a ground incursion in the coming days🙀.
Deaths reported but I didn't get the exact number😿.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah deputy secretary general, Naim Kassim, has come out to say Hezbollah will survive and remain intact🙀.
Not far off, in Gaza, the bloodshed continued with 28 Palestinians killed across the strip in Israeli airstrikes😿.
The death toll is now 41,600 as we approach the one year anniversary of October 7 😭.
In Europe, the UK is about to stop producing any electricity from burning coal🎊. Ending its 142 year reliance on the fossil fuel.
Coal is the dirtiest fossil fuel producing the most greenhouse gases when burnt.
Hopefully, other countries are taking note. Weather patterns are getting crazy and that can be reversed by such decisions.
In France, far right leader, Marine Le Pen is on trial for alleged misuse of EU funds🙀.
In Africa, Kenya trending as MPs are about to bring a motion to impeach the deputy president🙀. Let's wait to see how that goes.
In crazy weather, death toll in devastation from Hurricane Helene climbed to 100😿. Though up to 600 people still reported missing🙀.
It has also left millions without electricity.
We definitely need to cut on greenhouse gases to avoid extreme weather patterns that are taking lives. Mother nature is angry.
