Happy Thursday 🎊 and a very warm welcome to my report. Thank you for stopping by as I breakdown how my day went including some of the trending stories that caught my eye 👀.
Let's not waste any more time, here we go again 💨.
So just like yesterday I was up early for my morning walk around the neighborhood. By 8 the sun 🌞 was out making for a beautiful sunrise 🌄, though the blowing wind was a little chilly.
After about 20 minutes I was back indoors handling the usual house chores. Later on, I was on YouTube watching the trending news and crypto related stuff.
My final walk, was the usual slow paced sunset 🌄 walk. Just around the neighborhood ending up at my workout corner in the park🌳.I made it back safe n sound calling it a day.
Nice short walk😹.
Let's now get into the trending stories.
As usual in the middle east, Gaza trending as another bloody day unfolded🙀. 30 people killed across the strip in Israeli airstrikes😿. The total death toll now at 40, 602.
Still in Gaza, a ten month baby has been diagnosed with poliomyelitis or polio in short🙀.
Polio has made a come back in the region following the breakdown of water and sewage infrastructure due to the war.
The WHO has announced a polio vaccination campaign in Gaza to begin on Sunday.
Israel has agreed to limited pauses in fighting of up to 8 to 9 hours to facilitate vaccination of children under ten years.
I don't know if people will trust them to bring out their children🙀. Difficult situation but on the other hand polio is no joke as it causes permanent damage with paralysis of limbs😿.
Meanwhile, the raid in occupied west bank entered it's second day. Israel saying it had killed Palestinian fighters hiding in a mosque🙀. Insisting the raid would last seven or more days as they flash out criminals.
In Europe, after visiting Germany, UK PM Keir Starmer, is in France mending and promoting ties with president Macron 💯.
Speaking of mending ties, down under, US national security advisor Jake Sullivan is in Beijing, China meeting with president Xi Jinping. The meeting aimed at deflating tensions between China and US allies in the region😹.
Finally, more mending fences as Spanish PM visited Senegal. He is on a tour of west African nations with an aim of tackling irregular migration.
They should probably make the visa process easier especially for seasonal workers to avoid people getting into unsafe boats💯.
