Happy Monday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my report 😊. Hopefully your week is off to a great start ☺️. Can't believe we are already in December though. My day has been wonderful and as always I am glad you stopped by yet again 👏. Let's quickly take a look at how my day has been and also some of the trending news. Here we go again 💨.
So I had two major walks, starting off early with fast paced morning session. I brisk walked around the neighbourhood. I did enjoy that fresh morning breeze🍃. Then I was back indoors for the usual household chores. later in the afternoon, I stopped by the shopping center then was back home for some cooking followed by the usual nap. In between I did check out some trending news and watched some you tube. Finally I finished off the day with the slow paced evening walk in the cool evening breeze.
So what's been trending. Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept going 😹. Otherwise a quiet day.
Oh wait, not a quiet day for some parts in Kenya, especially north east where flooding has displaced thousands of people🙀.
Globally, Gaza still trending, near total internet blackout as Israeli bombardments continued. Today Israeli strikes hit a school in Gaza city. Gaza hospitals in the south of Gaza are becoming overwhelmed with the number of injured people coming through😿.
Also trending, Turkish president Erdogan stopped by in Qatar meeting the Emir. They discussed latest attacks, aid and peace efforts in Gaza. Turkish president warned Israel against targeting Hamas leaders based in Turkey or elsewhere in the world.
Lets go to Europe, rights groups have accused the Dutch state of war crimes at the Hague🙀. The petitioners say the Netherlands is complicit for it's exports of F35 fighter jets parts to Israel. Lets see how it goes.
Across the pond in the US, UN security council has held closed door meeting to discuss the situation in Palestinian territories. The UN says Israeli bombardment is impeding flow of aid to vulnerable people in the Gaza strip.
Finally in crazy weather,at least 11 hikers killed and several missing after a volcano in Indonesia abruptly erupted. Shooting ash and debri, upto 3 kms in the sky🙀. However, all's well that ends well.Am sure everything will be ok 💯.
