Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's another 24 hours to be grateful for and as the day fades away, am raring to go with my stepping activities of the day including some of the trending stories I came across. It's the first Sunday of December, thank you for being here and let's get cracking 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with the fast paced morning session. Thoroughly enjoyed the cool morning breeze 🍃 as I made my way around the neighborhood 🌲. But it was a short walk. Then I was back indoors for some rest and the daily household chores. A little bit of youtube and cooking then the afternoon saw me go out to the shopping centre for some groceries. Next came the refreshing nap💤. I woke up some time later in the evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and news. Some interesting EPL matches were on today😹.
I did finish off the day with the slow paced evening walk. Now let's quickly take a look what has been trending in the media streets.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept going😹, otherwise a quiet day.
Globally, Gaza strip still trending as bombing continued. Gaza media office reported that more than 700 Palestinians killed by Israeli bombardment in the past 24 hours😭. Rescuers were busy trying to pull bodies from the rubble by hand in the Jabaliya refugee camp🙀.
An Israeli army spokesman said the offensive in southern Gaza will match it's operations in the north🙀.
Hospitals in the south are under pressure as they receive the injured.
Meanwhile, street to street gun battles between Hamas fighters and Israeli soldiers went on in Gaza city.
Hamas Qassam brigades have launched a barrage of rockets from north and central Gaza towards Israel🙀.Quite a mess.
Lets go to Europe, France trending as German man was killed in Paris knife and hammer attack 😭. Two other people were injured in that attack near Eiffel tower. The suspect is a french national born to Iranian parents and had pledged allegiance to Islamic state🙀.
Across the pond in the US, New York trending as four people, including two children, have been killed and three others injured following a stabbing incident in Queens😭. A case of domestic violence as the suspect was shot dead by a police officer. Its a wild world😡.
