Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Sunday, and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. Time flies, it's the last Sunday of November, imagine that😹,2024 is around the corner. As always I am truly happy and grateful for this day💯,many wanted to see it but didn't, so we are all blessed. Thank you for being here yet again and before bedtime, let's quickly take a look at how my day went and also some of the trending stories. Here we go again, come on 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with the fast paced morning session. Thoroughly enjoyed the cool morning breeze 🍃 as I made my way around the neighborhood 🌲. But it was a short walk as I slept a little longer this morning 😹. Then I was back indoors for some rest and the daily household chores. A little bit of youtube and then the afternoon saw me go out to the mall for some groceries and window shopping😹.
Then I was back home for a short but refreshing nap💤. I woke up some time later in the evening and continued watching some you tube videos and news. I did finish off the day with the slow paced evening walk, a rather short one just to stretch out my legs. Now let's quickly take a look what has been trending in the media streets.
Locally, just another quiet Sunday, although floods have been wreaking havoc in the north eastern parts of the country with people evacuated to higher grounds, everything will be ok💯.
On the continent, Sierra Leone is under curfew as prisoners are on the loose🙀. This after gunmen attacked a military barracks then broke into a number of prisons. A lucky escape but am sure most of them will be recaptured.
Globally, over in Gaza the ceasefire is still in place🎊. Today 13 Israeli captives and four foreigners were freed by Hamas including a four year old.
Likewise,39 Palestinian prisoners have been released by Israel on the third day of the ceasefire. Israel has banned Palestinians from publicly celebrating the release of prisoners🙀. However, crowds still gathered in Ramallah to receive freed prisoners.
Lets go to Europe where Russia has downed Ukrainian drones and missiles a day after it's attack on Kyiv. Ukraine had targeted four regions in Russia including Moscow. Meanwhile, Ukraine said it's air defence had downed eight out of nine drones over the country on Sunday, its tit for tat😹.
Finally, across the pond in the US, three young Palestinian men have been shot near a university campus in Vermont😿. The incident took place on Saturday evening in the city of Burlington. Luckily they are still alive and getting treatment. All signs pointing to a hate crime.Let's hope the deranged shooter will be brought to book💯
