Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Thursday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊.As always I am so grateful for this day, It's been wonderful stepping it out 💯, now that it's almost bedtime 💤 let's quickly take a look at how my day has been and also share some of the trending stories. So I started the day with lots of brisk walking around the neighbourhood, today was a little warmer than yesterday which motivated me to keep going. Then I was back indoors for some resting and some of the little household chores here and there. Later in the afternoon I had to get something to cook from the mall. Then back home I squeezed in the usual nap before the evening set in. Next came the slow paced evening walking session enjoying the cool breeze🍃.Throughout the day I have been following up on the trending news, that's next.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going, otherwise a quiet day.
On the continent, Madagascar voted in an election boycotted by the opposition🙀.
Globally, Gaza still trending with the dire situation. There's a communication black out due to lack of fuel😿. Israel defends blocking fuel deliveries as the UN warned that the situation could lead to breakdown of civil order.
The Indonesian hospital is at breaking point as medicines and medical supplies have run out. Patients sleeping on corridors and some with horrific injuries that are not being treated😿.
Then, Israeli forces still searching Al shifa hospital where they claim to have discovered a Hamas command base. At the same hospital, lives 36 premature babies are at risk from a lack of oxygen as incubators are not working 😿.
Meanwhile, Israeli army says it has found the body of one of the hostages taken from Israel in a building near Al shifa hospital. The victim is a 65 year old woman😭.
Also trending, Hamas has claimed responsibility for shooting near Jerusalem that killed an Israeli soldier🙀
Finally, across the pond in the US, president Biden defended Israel's attack on Al shifa hospital saying that it was a Hamas command center just as Israelis have claimed.
