Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Tuesday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. I am definitely grateful for this day💯.Yesterday was quite hectic, I couldn't post😿 but am back. So it's been a wonderful day and it's about that time to slow down, get ready for bed 💤. Before that let's quickly take a look at how my stepping went and also what's trending in the media streets. So just like yesterday, I started the day with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 around the neighborhood 🌲. A nice session and then I was back indoors for some resting and the usual house chores. It's been quite sunny 🌞 the entire day even as I walked to the shopping centre in the afternoon as opposed to the cloudy☁️ days we have been having lately.
I later had my usual nap and then woke up to some cooking and news. Next it was time for the sunset walk, that went well and I made it back home safe and sound. To finish off let's quickly look at the trending stories of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. Czech prime minister is on a visit to Nairobi and held talks with the president.
Globally, Gaza trending as the place slowly turns into hell on earth. Israel is still bombing relentlessly🙀. The death toll today 10,328😿. 500 killed in twenty four hours😭.
Meanwhile, hospitals are near total collapse with medicine and other supplies running out. PM Netanyahu has said there won't be a ceasefire as long as captives are being held in Gaza.
Speaking of captives, their relatives held a candle 🕯️ light vigil in Tel Aviv. Today marked one month since the Hamas attack.
Israel says its troops are in the heart of Gaza city. The defense minister said the troops stormed the city from the north and south to target Hamas.
Quite an unfortunate situation unfolding😿. Lets see what happens next.
