You definitely know the drill, it's about time to wrap the day. Let's quickly take a look at how my day has been including the trending stories. Here we go again 💨..
So as always my day began with a little bit of stretching then a few rounds of brisk walking around the neighbourhood. That fresh morning breeze🍃 was so wonderful. Then I was back indoors where I rested then got on with the little daily chores around the house. In between I caught up with the latest news and watched some crypto youtube. My next walking came later in the afternoon to the city centre for some errands . Then I was back indoors for the usual nap. I woke up feeling refreshed some time early evening. watched the news then it was time for the sunset walk. As always slow paced around the neighbourhood and park. So that was the stepping and now let's quickly look at what trended in the media.
Locally, nothing much happening except the usual political shenanigans😹.
Globally, Gaza still in dire situation😿. Israel is bombing areas in the north and center of the Gaza strip. Has warned people to move to the south. However, bombing is also happening in the south🙀: so no place is safe in Gaza😿. Even as they get hammered Hamas have managed to fire rockets into southern Israel.
Most communication including mobile phones have been cut across Gaza making it hard to reach ambulances and other essential services. Israel says ground operations into Gaza are expanding🙀.
Lets to go to Europe, Ukraine trending as the US intelligence are saying Russia is executing its own soldiers who try to retreat from a bloody offensive in Eastern Ukraine. According to US, some of the casualties suffered by Russia near Avdiivka were on orders of their own leaders🙀.
Across the pond in the US, the UN general assembly held a special emergency session. Voting going on on resolutions about the ongoing war in the middle east. The UN is calling for humanitarian pauses in hostilities to help aid get distributed to people of Gaza.
Meanwhile a major manhunt is underway in Maine for the shooter that killed 18 people. The town remains a ghost town as police step up patrols in search of the ruthless gun man. Let's hope he won't continue his shooting and that he gets apprehended ASAP💯.
