Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Tuesday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's been another ordinary but active day and it's now time to wrap things up and get ready for bed 💤. As always thank you for stopping by and let's quickly take a look at how my stepping went and also share some of the day's trending stories. Come on 💨.
So just like yesterday, I started the day with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 around the neighborhood 🌲. A nice session and then I was back indoors for some resting and the usual house chores. It's been quite rainy the entire day even as I walked to the shopping centre in the afternoon as opposed to the sunny days we have been having lately.
I later had my usual nap and then woke up to some cooking and news. Next it was time for the sunset walk, that went well and I made it back home safe and sound. The rain has since calmed down. To finish off let's quickly look at the trending stories of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going,
Globally, a shocking day in Gaza as more than 500 people killed in Israeli airstrike on Al Ahli baptist hospital in Gaza😭, in total over 3,500 Palestinians have lost their lives in the nine day war.
Following that attack, thousands of Palestinians in the occupied west bank took to the streets to condemn it. In Ramallah there was tear gas fired as protesters got out of hand 🙀.
The Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas has cancelled tomorrow's meeting in Jordan where he was supposed to meet US president Biden 😿. Yes Biden is on his way to try seek a solution to the ongoing crisis.
Iran supreme leader warned Israel against a Gaza ground invasion which is quite imminent🙀. Something's gotta give in Gaza as things are getting worse😿. The sad part is that civilians can't escape the bombardment.
Let's go to Europe, president Zelensky has said Ukraine has now used US supplied long range missiles for the first time. Let's hope this helps drive out the Russians faster.
In Belgium, police have shot dead Brussels attacker who killed two Swedes yesterday. A third swedish citizen was seriously injured in that attack. The ongoing game between Belgium and Sweden was suspended at half time. The attacker, a Tunisian is said to be living in Belgium illegally after his asylum application was rejected🙀. Sounds like someone brainwashed by religion and frustrated by life😿.
