I am definitely grateful for this day and as it draws to a close, it's time to take a peek into how my stepping went and also share some of the trending stories I came across. So as usual I had two major walks just like yesterday, starting off with the fast paced brisk walk around the neighbourhood. Then I was back indoors for the usual household chores and a little bit of resting. The afternoon saw me walk to the shopping centre for some groceries. As always I squeezed in my usual nap before the evening set in. Then it was time for the slow paced evening walk enjoying the cool evening breeze🍃. Meanwhile in between the day I had been watching the trending stories on the news and also a little bit of crypto/twitter. let's dive into that next
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going.
Globally, Russia trending as Wagner chief Prigozhin Yevgeny is on a passenger list of a crashed plane🙀. The plane crashed somewhere in Moscow while headed towards St Petersburg. The private plane was carrying ten passengers. Russian state media is yet to confirm if indeed he is dead😭.let's wait.
Another big story, India has made history as it's moon 🌕 mission becomes the first to land in the lunar south pole region🎉. India now joins an elite club of countries to achieve a soft landing on the moon. That's USA, former Soviet union and China.
Let's go to Europe, UK carried out first ever womb transplant as a sister donated uterus🙀. The uterus transplant took place in a surgery that lasted more than nine hours at a hospital in Oxford.
Across the pond in the US, Trump has been implicated by one of his employees in the Mar-a-Lago classified documents case😹. The IT director changed his testimony after switching lawyers. He now accuses Trump and two aides of efforts to delete security camera footage🙀.
Finally in crazy weather, extreme weather brought winds, fierce rains to Saudi Arabia's Mecca. Pilgrims doing the tawaf on Tuesday were caught in storms as lightning hit an iconic tower in Mecca🙀. The situation has since calmed down.
