My Actifit Report Card: July 27 2023....Throwback Thursday 👣💨🍃🙌👏💯🙏😇👼💞😴💤☕⛅🎼🎶👌✨🌠
Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Thursday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊.As always I am so grateful for this day, we are nearly getting into August. It's been wonderful stepping it out 💯, now that it's almost bedtime 💤 let's quickly take a look at how my day has been and also share some of the trending stories. As always thank you for reading and let's take it away 💨.
So I started the day with lots of brisk walking around the neighbourhood, today was a little warmer than yesterday which motivated me to keep going. Then I was back indoors for some resting and some of the little household chores here and there. Later in the afternoon I had to get something to cook from the mall. Then back home I squeezed in the usual nap before the evening set in. Next came the slow paced evening walking session enjoying the cool breeze🍃.Throughout the day I have been following up on the trending news, that's next.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. A rare DDoS attack was experienced today on Kenyan govt websites🙀. A hacking attempt was thwarted and is being investigated.
On the continent, Niger trending as a full coup is in effect. This after the army declared support for the coup leaders that have detained the president🙀. Hell broke lose when demonstrators broke into the ruling party's offices, looting and causing mayhem.
It seems that Niger will go the Mali and Burkina Faso way where the army overthrew the democratically elected presidents😹.
Let's go to Russia, where Putin was meeting some African leaders in St Petersburg. Focusing on development initiatives such as infrastructure and energy. He promised to give them free grains😹.
Meanwhile, Israel trending as security minister Ben Gvir led an incursion of ultranationalists into the Al aqsa mosque🙀. Many countries including US, Jordan, Turkey have condemned it😡.
Still in Israel, angry protesters were back to the streets of Tel Aviv. Parliament did what they were trying to prevent on Monday by passing the controversial judicial reforms bill🙀. They vowed to keep going with protests.
Finally, the era of global warming is gone and we are now in the era of global boiling😹. This according to the UN secretary general Antonio Guterez. July has been said to be the hottest month ever recorded🙀.
Meanwhile, wild fires 🔥 reported in Latakia Syria, then in Sicily Italy where wild fires destroyed an ancient church🙀. Greece mainland still grappling with fires being spread by strong winds and high temperatures.
All's well that ends well💯. It will be ok.
So that's it, do check me out yet again tomorrow on an amazing high five Friday 🙌. Until then keep stepping and enjoying yourselves to the max 💯. Nothing much to add but bid you adieu 💖💞💖 Take care, Hakuna Matata.
