Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Tuesday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. I am definitely grateful for this day💯. It's been another ordinary day and it's now time to wrap things up and get ready for bed 💤. As always thank you for stopping by and let's quickly take a look at how my stepping went and also share some of the day's trending stories. Here we go again 💨.
So as usual I had two major walking sessions. Starting off with the fast paced morning session that was quite enjoyable in the fresh morning breeze🍃. Then I was back indoors for the little daily household chores. Later in the afternoon I stopped by the shopping centre for some cooking groceries. I squeezed my nap into the rest of the afternoon. Then the final evening walk happened before I got back home safe and sound calling it a day. Of course in between I was watching the news including crypto , lets get into that next.
Trending locally, the usual political shenanigans😹 kept going, otherwise a quiet day.
Globally, Israel trending police engaged angry protesters in the streets of Tel Aviv🙀. This after yesterday's passing of the judicial reforms bill in parliament. Doctors and medical workers declared a strike. Labour leaders threatening major strikes of teachers, bank employees and other workers🙀.
Seems like majority of the population are against the proposed reform of the judiciary.
UK foreign minister has called for caution in the matter. Meanwhile in the occupied west bank there were protests by Palestinians against establishment of new illegal Israeli settlements🙀.
Speaking of Palestine, Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas was in Turkey meeting president Erdogan for talks on various issues. A major issue is the two state solution with Israel.
Let's go to Asia, China trending, political shenanigans 😹 as the foreign minister was fired barely after 7 months in office. No explanation given as he was replaced by his predecessor🙀.
Across the pond in Ecuador, the govt has declared a state of emergency in prisons amid fatal attacks🙀. The president has ordered the military and police to take control of the prison system after a wave of violence.
Finally, in crazy weather, we are still talking of the wild fires in Greece. Then down in Algeria and Tunisia. The high temperatures and strong winds making things quite difficult.
