Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Tuesday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. I am definitely grateful for this day💯. It's been another ordinary day and it's now time to wrap things up and get ready for bed 💤. As always thank you for stopping by and let's quickly take a look at how my stepping went and also share some of the day's trending stories. Here we go again 💨.
So as usual I had two major walking sessions. Starting off with the fast paced morning session that was quite enjoyable in the fresh morning breeze🍃. Then I was back indoors for the little daily household chores. Later in the afternoon I stopped by the shopping centre for some cooking groceries. I squeezed my nap into the rest of the afternoon. Then the final evening walk happened before I got back home safe and sound calling it a day. Of course in between I was watching the news including crypto , lets get into that next.
Trending locally, the usual political shenanigans😹 kept going, otherwise a quiet day.
Globally, Israel trending as troops began withdrawing from Jenin after a 2 day assault. Explosions and gunfire have been the order of the day. Israeli govt saying objectives achieved.
In what looks like a revenge, a Palestinian man in Tel Aviv drove his car into bystanders then got out and began a stabbing spree🙀. Several people were injured but he was shot dead by a passerby. Seems like the vicious cycle of violence and hatred will keep going😡.
Not far off in Afghanistan, the Taliban are at it again😹. This time they have ordered all hair salons to shut down with immediate effect. Further isolating women from society. Women are banned from working or attending school😡.It is indeed a sad situation especially for those with talents that can make a difference in society.
Let's go to Europe where Ukraine trending as Russia missile hit a residential area near Kharkiv injuring many people🙀.
Then in a strange twist of events, the Russian military says it intercepted 5 Ukrainian drones in Moscow🙀.
Across the pond, in the US, it's independence day. Happy 4th if you are celebrating, am sure there will be lots of fireworks🎊🎉. Those British colonists moved to Africa after granting the US independence😹. They were on a roll.
Finally, Meta or face book's parent company is set to launch a micro blogging app to rival twitter. They will be calling it threads😹. I wonder if they borrowed that from our leothreads😊.
