Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my report 😊. As always I am grateful for this day, I just love how laid back Sundays are💯. Thank you for stopping by and please keep reading 👓 as I let you in on how my day has been including some of the trending stories I came across. Let's go 💨.
So as usual, I began the day with the fast paced morning session. Brisk walking 👣 and jogging around the neighborhood 🌲, enjoying the cool morning breeze 🍃. Then I was back indoors for some resting and then later my usual daily chores. I had a big pile of laundry to get through. Then I also kept abreast with the trending news and emails. Later in the afternoon I had a little bit of walking going to the city center for some groceries and window shopping. Then I was back indoors for the usual refreshing nap. The evening came fast and I woke up to cooking, watching a bit of youtube.
Then I was out as the sun was setting to enjoy the slow paced evening walk that winds down my day. Finally let's quickly look at what was trending in the media.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going as politicians attended church services.
On the continent, crazy fighting has resumed in Sudan after the calm they witnessed yesterday. The ceasefire is over and Sunday both sides went all out with explosions and gunfire in many places🙀.
Globally, Ukraine trending as their counteroffensive against Russia yielded some gain. They have reportedly retaken two villages in Donetsk capturing some Russian soldiers😹.
Still in Europe, Scotland's ex leader Nicola Sturgeon was arrested in a finance probe, later released without charge🙀. Where there's smoke, there's probably a fire😹, let's keep watching.
Then Novak Djokovic trending in France as he won a record 23rd grand slam with third french open🎉. Congratulations to him🎊. He broke a tie with rival Rafael Nadal for most major single trophies in history of mens tennis. Wow.
Let's go to Asia, where Taiwan sent up fighters and deployed ships and land based missile systems to keep watch on Chinese aircraft after spotting 10 Chinese warplanes crossing the sensitive median line, which separates the two sides, of the Taiwan strait🙀. Fingers crossed, the world doesn't need another war.
Finally across the pond in the US, a part of a major highway or freeway has collapsed after fire in Philadelphia🙀. A video showed a massive concrete slab covering an entire section, hope no one was injured.
