Hello everyone,
Happy Monday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's a new week and the stepping continued unabated. As always I am so grateful for this day💯. Alright, time to wrap things up and look back at how my day turned out including some of the trending stories I came across. Buckle up and let's get going 💨.
So just like yesterday I got the day started with a few rounds of brisk walking around the neighbourhood. A short walk but it was a nice sunny morning with some fantastic breeze🍃. Next I was back indoors where I rested, watched the news, did the little daily chores etc. My next walking came in the afternoon going for a few groceries at the shopping centre. Then I came back home did a little bit of crypto and politics youtube. Fell asleep for the afternoon nap, so refreshing as always. Then the last walking was the slow paced evening walk after 6pm, nice way to end the day. Next lets take a look at what's been trending.
Locally, political shenanigans kept going 😹, the UN habitat conference opened in Nairobi.
Globally Ukraine trending as the commander of ground forces said troops were advancing on the Russian occupied city of Bakmut 🙀.
Meanwhile on the other side, two pro Ukraine Russian armed groups say they have captured Russian troops in Belgorod region. The Liberty of Russia legion and Russian volunteer Corps said they would hand over the captives to Ukraine😹.
Across the pond in the US, former vice president Mike Pence has thrown his name into the hat too😹, he will be running for president, I believe Trump will trump them all for that republican ticket😹.
Us secretary of state Blinken, while addressing AIPAC conference said all options were on the table to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.
Tomorrow he will be heading to Saudi Arabia to discuss strategic cooperation. Speaking of Saudi Arabia, Iran will be re opening it's embassy there after 7 years.
In crypto news, the SEC has sued worlds largest crypto exchange Binance and its owner CZ🙀. The SEC says the CEO secretly controls customers assets, allowing them to commingle and divert customer funds. Binance have allegedly failed to restrict US customers from their platform.
The SEC are on a mission to dent crypto, a few weeks ago Gary Gensler couldn't say if Eth was a security or not😹. Yet during his lecturing years back in the day, he freely admitted it was not a security. Let's see how this lawsuit goes. They will probably be after Eth next😹.
